Develop and execute content including copywriting and visual design for newsletters social media and digital campaigns to drive engagement of our members community partners and team members.
Coordinate and support member events including the Annual General Meeting town halls grand openings and celebrations.
Support the Member Relations Administration team with member transactions and communications in adherence with co-operative bylaws.
Implement strategies for membership growth and recruitment.
Measure and report on member engagement outcomes against established goals.
Employee Communications & Recognition
Create regular content on Team Member communication platforms with support from the Communications Manager.
Execute promotional strategies for employee recognition including contests and rebate programs.
Assist in the planning and execution of employee events and celebrations.
Provide reports and analysis
Community Relations & Sponsorship Support
Assist in the administration of community giving and sponsorship programs including the Do Some Good platform.
Support community engagement initiatives like gift card fundraising scholarship programs sponsorship activations and annual programs (ie: Fuel Good Day).
Provide reports and analysis from community engagement platforms.
Internal and External Relationships
Proactively cultivate trust and rapport with internal divisions departments and the Member Relations Administration team through consistent communication active listening to understand their needs and collaborative problem-solving.
Establish and maintain positive and productive relationships with external community stakeholders through timely and respectful communication a focus on shared objectives and exploring mutually beneficial opportunities.
Champion open communication across all levels of the co-operative to foster a culture of transparency and collaboration that strengthens internal connections.
Qualifications:
Candidates will have their undergraduate degree in Communications Public Relations Marketing or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years experience in communication or a related field.
Proven experience in copywriting digital media management and content creation in various communications channels.
Experience within a Co-operative structure or similar member-based organization is considered an asset.
