Brief Description

Regal Rexnords Aerospace Solutions Division a leading supplier in the Aerospace industry is seeking the services of a skilled Accountant professional for our Monticello site. This role is full time on-site in Monticello IN with the ability for a hybrid working schedule with one day per week at home.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintaining accurate financial records including transactions expenses and revenue.
• Active participation in the monthly closing function and financial statement preparation.
• Monthly quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Collaborate with the Controller for both internal and external audits.
• Prepares records and tracks journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
• Works to identify and reconcile intercompany balances with global partners.
• Consolidates and verifies financial data from business groups and identifies and investigates irregularities.
• Provides back up for the Site Controller.
• Works with corporate accounting team to streamline and improve current accounting processes to facilitate the month end close and reconciliation processes.
• Supports capital acquisition tracking and capitalization of assets for approved projects.
• Performs Inventory reconciliations and analysis as well as supports business initiatives to improve inventory health
• Provide product costing support and analysis to include preparation of the annual standard cost roll.
• Support cycle count reporting and analysis and annual physical inventory when needed.
• Review financial processes controls and compliance.
• Special projects and other duties as required.

Job Requirements Capabilities and Success Factors

• Bachelors Degree in Finance Accounting or Business Administration is or CPA is preferred.
• 2 years of business experience in Accounting/Finance with at least one year of cost accounting experience.
• Experience using an ERP system preferably Oracle and/or OneStream.
• Knowledge of month end closings including journal entries account reconciliations auditing and SOX compliance.
• Experience with balancing the ledger for reports.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy adherence to procedures and policies and continuous improvement.
• High energy team player with strong communication skills to be able to effectively communicate with vendors and all levels of management.
• Deadline driven punctual and excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work in high volume environment.
• Strong independent follow up skills.
• Flexible and able to prioritize tasks.
• Intermediate Excel skills.

Compensation: $80000 - $95000 annual salary

The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the companys base pay compensation for this position. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors including but not limited to the physical worksite location the geographic market of that location candidates skill set level of experience education and internal peer compensation comparisons among other potential factors.
