Health and Safety Engineer Co-Op/Intern

Where will you work:

FishHawk site located in Lithia FL with occasional travel to other Florida sites.

What will you do

Day to day work assignments assigned by the supervisor and could include:

• Use existing EHS data including lagging and leading indicators to identify trends and provide input into critical EHS strategic planning.

• With support from a Senior EHS Technology and Data Analyst design a technology solution for EHS data collection or analysis including PowerBI Dashboard and/ or PowerApp potentially with the use of AI tools.

• Support EHS Operations Services to include Employee Observation Contractor Safety and Emergency Response Program across North American operations.

• Attend department meetings and meetings specific to the project assignment.

• Adhering to Mosaics mission guiding principles and priorities and key competencies

What do you need for this role

• Sophomore level by January 2026 or higher pursuing a bachelors degree in Chemical Computer Science Data Science Environmental Industrial Systems Mechanical and/or Process Engineering.

• 2.75 GPA or higher

• 1-2 years of experience volunteering working with student/school organizations or work is preferred.

• Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred.

• Reliable transportation and valid drivers license - You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office.

• Ability to work full timeand be a student in standing at the time of the co-op/internship

• Selected candidates will be required to successfully complete thefollowing:Post-offer/pre-placementdrug and alcohol screening background check physical functional capacity examination.

• Basic computer skills are required.

• Experience working in a team environment is a must.

• Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable.

• Effective verbal communication skills is a plus.

• Physical work environment is occasionally outdoors with exposure to varying degrees of hot and cold environments.
