Under the direction of the site EHS Manager you will implement maintain and communicate environmental health and safety programs at the Suffolk Fulfillment Center. You will train cross-functional teams in the FC and present updates and findings to leadership. You will work onsite Monday-Friday 11-7pm.

Your Impact
Conduct routine assessments of site safety and health programs facilitating corrective measures.
Conduct routine compliance audits job hazard analyses and risk assessments. Provides recommendations to the site EHS Manager and Leadership team. Incorporates solutions that take into account what why and how findings can be addressed to reduce hazards and lower risks.
Responsible for annual site compliance and company best management practice (BMP) EHS training topics with targeted site teams.
Track and manage site leading safety indicators and EHS metrics. Report weekly results to site EHS Manager and site Leadership team.
Assist the site EHS Manager and Leadership team with site safety recognition programs.
Manage the weekly/monthly regulated waste program requirements.
Provide guidance to site regardingincident report and accident investigation processes reports OSHA injury/illness recording practices and maintains OSHA 300 reporting logs.
What You Bring
Basic knowledge in environmental and occupational safety and health regulations.
Experience presenting and training small to midsize groups.
BS/BA in safety environmental or other related EHS field or equivalent work experience
Safety committee experience or management experience of small team.
Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.
