Job Description
Job Title: Eye OT Technician

Role Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for ophthalmic procedures.
- Assist in various eye surgeries and treatment processes.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and evaluations.
- Maintain and manage ophthalmic equipment effectively.
- Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of surgical instruments.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs during procedures.
- Provide post-operative care and instructions to patients.
- Facilitate communication between patients and medical staff.
- Document patient information accurately in medical records.
- Support ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Troubleshoot any equipment issues promptly.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations in the clinical environment.
- Participate in training programs to enhance professional skills.
- Assist in managing inventory and supplies for the OT.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in ophthalmic technology.
Qualifications:
- Certification as an ophthalmic technician or related field.
- Experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and terminology.
- Proficiency in using medical equipment related to ophthalmology.
- Excellent communication skills for patient interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of hygiene practices in a clinical setting.
