Job Description
We are looking to hire a highly motivated individual dependable trustworthy good customer service and detail-oriented to join Hawaiian Building Maintenance (HBM). The Full-Time Janitorial position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the building based on assigned cleaning duties located in Kailua - Oahu. Applicant must pass background check.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas of the facility
- Communicate effectively and comprehend English Interact with customers vendors and management
- Clean and maintain various areas: sweep mop dust clean glass doors and mirrors maintaining restrooms and offices.
- Operate a vacuum for indoor cleaning Collect and dispose of trash in designated areas
- Lift trash from bins bend and navigate staircases and elevators Stand and walk for long period of time
- Use a leaf blower for outdoor areas Push trash bins as required
Schedule:
Full-time Sunday Monday Tuesday Friday and Saturday: 6am-2:30pm 40 hours a week (Days off: Wednesday and Thursday)
Compensation: $15.25 - $16/per hour
Skills/Qualifications:
- Must pass a background check
- Must have reliable transportation
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but we are willing to train
- Applicants must be able to perform basic manual labor clean common areas frequently lift push pull and carry a minimum of 30 lbs (up to 50 lbs) and be capable of reaching overhead grasping objects bending kneeling crawling squatting climbing stretching walking and navigating stairs throughout their shifts.
- Experience using pressure washer machine (not necessary but preferred)
- Experience using blow motor machine (not necessary but preferred)
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
- Strong public relations and communication skills
