The Program Manager reports directly to the Program Director. This position is based in Farmingdale NJ and oversees our group home.
Salary: Starting at $58000 and increases with education/experience.
What Devereux Looks for in YOU:
- Plans and implements the occupational recreational social and other developmental plans designed for each individual in their care.
- Responsible for ensuring the internal and external facilities of the program are maintained in a way to present Devereux as a good neighbor and welcomed member of the community.
- Responsible for all the staff within their assigned program(s) inclusive of the hiring performance management attendance management payroll accuracy and training compliance of each team member.
- Ensure all shifts within the program are adequately covered.
- Supervise the planning implementation and documentation of programs designed to meet the social emotional physical and personal needs of our individuals.
- Plan and participate in group outings for our individuals.
- Manage the shopping for the homes necessities such as food clothing and household items.
- Schedule and transport our individuals to doctors appointments shopping trips and day programs/schools.

Qualifications
Youd make a great DSP if you have:
- Have a minimum of a High School Diploma/GED. Bachelors in a related field preferred.
- Have a valid non-provisional drivers license.
- Be able to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
- One year of supervisory experience in a child/adult behavioral health care agency.
- Two years experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community setting preferred.
- Be empathetic and have a team approach to care for our individuals.
