Job Title: Fresher OPD Ophthalmologist Consultant (DOMS)

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough ophthalmic assessments for patients in an OPD setting.
• Perform clinical eye examinations to diagnose common eye conditions effectively.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on examination results.
• Provide education to patients regarding their eye conditions and treatment options.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records documenting examinations diagnoses and treatments.
• Stay updated on the latest ophthalmic practices and technologies.
• Participate in medical audits and quality assurance initiatives.
• Assist in outpatient surgical procedures as necessary.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and best practices in patient care.
• Follow up with patients to monitor treatment progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Provide emergency eye care when necessary.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance clinical skills.
• Engage with patients to provide empathetic support and guidance.
• Work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Qualifications:

• MBBS degree from a recognized institution.
• DOMS (Diploma in Ophthalmology) qualification.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with limited experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong understanding of ophthalmology principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong clinical problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new healthcare technologies.
• Strong ethical standards and professionalism in patient interactions.
