Job Description
3 months contract with local authority
Job Description:
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect and safely transport children from their placement to the contact venue and return them when the contact has concluded
- Supervise the contact between the children and their parents and ensure that contact requirements and procedures are followed
- Provide a written report on the required template on how the contact has proceeded
- Report any safeguarding concerns that arose during the contact to the Contact Manager and the allocated social worker
- Assist with the service duty arrangements
- Use various computer applications as required
- Ensure contact rooms are kept tidy and conform with Health and Safety requirements
- Attend training sessions as and when required
- Carry out any other duties that fall within the scope of the job and the grading
Requirements
- Valid drivers license
- Clear background check and references
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Requirements: Full-time availability for a year Ability to work 36 hours per week Resilient and able to thrive in challenging situations Attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills Comfortable with confrontation and able to deal with difficult situations Availability for out-of-hours meetings and lone working Daily use of a car and a full driving license
