Overview
We focus on building intuitive high-performing tools that empower insurance agents serving small businesses. Our solutions streamline operations and help agents deliver better service and value to their clients. Were looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Developer to join our team and contribute to delivering exceptional user experience.
Position Overview:
As a UI/UX Developer you will work closely with our product and development teams to design and implement user interfaces that are both functional and follow the AmTrust Design System. This role requires a strong understanding of modern front-end technologies and UX design principles.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement responsive user centric interfaces using HTML CSS SCSS and JavaScript.
- Collaborate with product managers and backend developers to translate requirements into functional UI.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices across the team
- Use Figma to design wireframes mockups and prototypes.
- Build maintain and style interfaces using Angular Blazor and SCSS
- Ensure consistent design patterns usability and accessibility across applications.
- Perform UX research and usability testing to guide design decisions.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure accessibility and usability standards are met across all projects
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience as a Front-End developer with a focus on Angular or Microsoft Blazor
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design skills.
- Ability to write clean maintainable and well documented code
- Experience working with version control systems primarily Git
- Experience using Figma or similar design tools.
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and responsive design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
