Turner Specialty Services is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Area Manager to oversee our operations in the Beaumont / Lake Charles region. In this critical role youll be responsible for managing a team of inspectors ensuring the highest quality of service delivery and driving business growth within your assigned territory.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in inspection services with a proven track record of leadership
- Active and current API certifications are required (e.g. API 510 API 570 API 653 etc.). Please specify your active certifications in your application
- Strong understanding of NDT methods and various inspection techniques.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in relevant software and reporting tools
- Must be local to the Beaumont TX or Lake Charles LA area
- Post offer drug / alcohol screen physical evaluation and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug Alcohol and Contraband Policy
- Comply with company and client job site safety requirements
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace
Functional Requirements:
Lead mentor and manage a team of inspection personnel; oversee all inspection projects ensuring compliance with industry standards client specifications and safety regulations; develop and maintain strong client relationships identifying opportunities for expansion and new business; manage operational budgets and resources effectively; implement and enforce company policies and procedures; conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development to your team; ensure timely and accurate reporting of all inspection activities; perform additional assignments per supervisors direction

Physical Involvement:
May be required to do the following: climbing ladders scaffolds structures etc. above and below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders scaffolds structures etc.; reaching in all directions handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lifting from ground level waist level and/or overhead; carrying objects tools equipment etc.; standing; walking; pushing; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction.
