About the Role:

Located in the heart of the Hills district The Gracewood Centre is a brand new aged care centre in Kellyville featuring convenient onsite amenities including a caf landscaped gardens and a chapel. The facility offers 96 general care rooms and 32 secure dementia care rooms with built in ceiling hoists.

As a purpose built facility the latest technology has been included to ensure residents are well looked after. Our team of professional staff are dedicated to delivering the best possible care to residents. The Gracewood Centre is an integral part of the wider community and is co-located on site with a Social Club Home Care and Retirement Living.

As aLifestyle Officer youll help create meaningful and uplifting experiences for our residents through engaging social recreational cultural and wellbeing programs. Your work will support mental health foster independence and celebrate each residents individuality.

With a well-designed activity program as your guide youll tailor experiences to reflect each persons unique interests and valuesensuring they feel seen heard and empowered.

Youll be supported every step of the way by our Lifestyle Coordinator and dedicated care team at Kellyville working together to deliver exceptional care and quality of life.

About You:

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or related qualification or willingness to attain (desired)
• Experience in a similar role is essential
• Team player who enjoys interacting with older people and has the right heart and drive to serve
• Basic technology/computer skills and willingness to take part in ongoing education
• Current First Aid certificate
• Hold a current drivers license
• Ability to drive a minibus is preferred.
