Position Summary
The Director of Marketing will lead the development and execution of innovative data-driven marketing strategies that elevate our brand engage members and drive participation in our events programs and services. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing this strategic and hands-on leader will play a key role in delivering measurable business outcomes through collaboration creativity and cross-functional alignment.
What Youll Do
- Strategic Leadership: Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Brand Stewardship: Oversee brand positioning and consistency across all channels.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of trends analyze member insights and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Content Oversight: Lead the creation of promotional content for programs events publications and advocacy campaigns.
- Collaborative Execution: Work across departmentsdigital content membershipto deliver integrated campaigns and cohesive messaging.
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor the Marketing Coordinator fostering creativity and accountability.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with internal teams volunteers vendors and designers to execute marketing initiatives.
- Performance Analytics: Track and report on KPIs to inform continuous improvement and optimize results.
What Were Looking For
Skills & Experience:
- 7 years of progressive marketing experience with demonstrated strategic and operational impact.
- 3 years in management or senior-level individual contributor roles.
- Proven ability to lead integrated marketing campaigns oversee brand strategy and collaborate across teams.
- Strong communication leadership project management and analytical skills.
Knowledge:
- Expertise in digital and traditional marketing brand management customer journey mapping and campaign analytics.
- Experience in regulatory or compliance-sensitive sectors such as financial services retirement planning or associations preferred.
Technology:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel preferred) Association Management Systems (e.g. Fonteva) CMS platforms CRM and marketing automation tools and AI-powered marketing solutions.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in marketing communications business or a related field preferred. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
Additional Details
- Supervision: Direct reportMarketing Coordinator. Provides matrix leadership across teams.
- Travel: Occasional local and domestic travel required.
- Work Environment: Hybrid schedule with in-office presence expected at least 3 days per week. Standard office physical requirements apply.
