The Commercial Executive supports the Southeast Asia Oceania business in all business reporting including monthly management reporting retail & net sales reporting stocks and provides actionable and data driven insights for the market and region by identifying business opportunities through retail performance analysis CRM analysis and other research platforms and own the end-to-end operations of the PO process.
To succeed in this role you are a good collaborator that possess strong analytical mind and commercially focused to constantly review and provide accurate clear and synthetic business reporting/insights through automatization and use of appropriate information systems.
YOUR MISSION
COMMERCIAL BUSINESS REPORTING & PLANNING
- Drive the sell-out analysis and reporting by franchise product and point of sales.
- Ensure timely tracking of retail & sales to target notifying gaps whenever possible and work with teams to drive action plans to close targets.
- Manage monthly net sales estimate: coordinate with the team analyze variances vs. Budget and report to HQ.
- Monitor and analyze sales driver budgets progression MTD actuals vs budgets: consistency discounts testers returns.
- Provide monthly flash reporting of business sales performance including insights and strategic recommendations
- Timely delivery of weekly & monthly Sell-in & Sell-out report SEAO.
- Take ownership of standard reports & presentation ensuring accuracy & timely delivery while continuing make improvements.
- Deep diving in data analysis on sales trend activation trend as and when required
- Marketing & VMD cost analysis
- Deliver ad-hoc reports in response to HQ requests as needed
- Collaborate with the Business Controller to support planning data collection and template (e.g. sales trends seasonality stockholding) from a commercial perspective.
- Assist with system data uploads and work alongside the Business Controller and Regional General Manager to prepare budget presentations and strategy plans offering data-driven insights and recommendations to support regional business objectives.
MARKET & BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE
- Own and drive monthly reporting for scorecard door and quarterly marketing CRM
- Own and drive brand and competitor analysis on quarterly basis (beauty research) to provide insights and opportunities suggestions to markets and strategy recommendation.
- Lead market size and business market share projection across the region.
- Lead in ad-hoc business questions to drive product channel and country sales strategies
EXPENSE MANAGEMENT
- Responsible for timely processing of POs
- Liaise with internal partners to expense follow ups
- Handles invoice documentation and vendor creations
- Ensure proper cut-off procedures at month end closing
- Reconciliation of expense and vendor SOA follow through
Qualifications :
WHAT YOU OFFER
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Working experience with data/business analysis experience preferred.
- Solid analytical and data presentation skills. Ability to communicate complex ideas with clarity for stakeholders at all levels.
- Hands-on experience on data management manipulation analytics & report generation with various technologies (SAP Advance Excel Power BI and data management) is key. Able to manage and run complicated excel spreadsheet
- Strong commercial understanding preferably with retail experience.
- Reports results/recommendation in a clear and cogent manner. Meticulous with an eye for details and abilities to avoid errors
- Problem solving skills with business acumen
