The Role As Head of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, you will provide clinical leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight of maternity and gynaecology services.
You will lead a committed team in delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centred care, while fostering a positive culture of education, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical care across general obstetrics and gynaecology
- Lead departmental planning, quality, and safety initiatives
- Oversee clinical governance, workforce development, and risk management
- Supervise and mentor registrars, junior doctors, and medical students
- Drive teaching, training, and research in collaboration with regional academic partners
About You- Fellowship of RANZCOG
- Eligible for specialist registration with AHPRA
- Proven leadership in a clinical or academic O&G setting
- Strong commitment to multidisciplinary collaboration and service excellence
- Passion for mentoring and supporting the next generation of clinicians
