SUMMARY OF POSITION
Kinsley is seeking skilled personnel to support our growing Utilities gas line crews in and around York County PA. We are hiring for multiple positions including pipe foreman equipment operators and pipelayers. Ideal candidates will bring a strong work ethic a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
PIPE FOREMAN
- Lead and motivate a crew of 5 to 6 team members effectively
- Interpret job specifications plans and construction details
- Coordinate manpower materials equipment and tools to ensure efficient job completion
- Complete daily timesheets and maintain job logs
- Demonstrate expertise in underground utility installation replacement and repair
- Promote and enforce safe work practices
- Perform additional duties as assigned
EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
- Operate heavy equipment safely following Kinsleys standards
- Apply sound knowledge of construction practices and job site logistics
- Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on equipment
- Take on additional responsibilities as required
PIPELAYER
- Install and replace underground pipe in open trenches
- Join pipe and make service connections
- Perform live pipeline taps and tie-ins
- Identify and mitigate job site hazards
- Operate non-CDL dump trucks and service trucks
- Perform other related duties as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 1 year of experience in pipe installation
- Comfortable working around heavy equipment
- Able to lift bend carry and perform other physically demanding tasks
- Must pass a DOT physical and drug screening
- Valid PA drivers license and reliable transportation
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
