Colorado Academy seeks a Chemistry Teaching Assistant to support an experienced Chemistry teacher who will be on intermittent leave from September through December in the 2025-2026 school year. This unique opportunity offers aspiring educators the chance to learn from a master teacher while gaining hands-on classroom experience as well as offering greater flexibility and a collaborative teaching approach to experienced educators seeking time in a classroom.
Position Overview
The Teaching Assistant will work closely with our experienced Chemistry teacher serving as the solo instructor approximately every three weeks for one-week periods with the longest solo teaching period lasting 2-3 weeks. This position provides an excellent balance of mentorship and independent teaching responsibility.

The pay for the full-time equivalent of this position is$63200 - $113900 actual compensation will be prorated based on time commitment. Although this is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting Colorado Academy reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range. Any wage differential that may exist for the position does not relate to sex gender or gender identity but relates solely to a seniority system a merit system or relevant education training and/or experience. Medical Dental Vision and Life Insurance benefit programs are available as is a 403(b) retirement plan. Eligibility for all benefit programs is defined by the applicable plan document.
