Job Description

LA Quality Pet Care is a thriving small animal veterinary practice located in the welcoming community of La Puente CA. We are dedicated to providing compassionate high-quality care to our patients and the families who love them. Our team is united by a shared commitment to meeting each pets needs with empathy expertise and personalized attentionwhether during a routine checkup or in a critical moment.

Our Client Service Representatives (CSRs) are essential to the success of our hospital. As the first point of contact for our clients they set the tone for the entire experience and help ensure a smooth efficient and supportive visit. We are looking for motivated individuals who can thrive in a high-volume fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will be self-starters who also excel in collaborative team-driven settings.

We value individuals who bring a positive compassionate attitude and who are eager to grow their knowledge and skills within veterinary medicine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet all clients and determine their needs with professionalism and empathy
  • Ensure efficient and accurate patient check-in and intake processes
  • Schedule appointments and confirm upcoming visits with attention to detail
  • Answer phone calls text messages and emails in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Educate clients and communicate clearly using appropriate veterinary terminology
  • Relay patient information effectively to doctors and other team members to maintain workflow
  • Manage check-out and billing including accurately charging for services and treatments
  • Identify patients requiring special handling (e.g. isolation) and respond appropriately
  • Maintain a cheerful and supportive demeanor when interacting with clients and colleagues

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of veterinary office experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment
  • Knowledge of pharmacy procedures and surgical discharge protocols is a plus
