Chocolate Production Manager
Salary circa 40000 Full-Time Monday to Friday (min. 35 hours/week)
Are you passionate about chocolate and experienced in food production Were looking for a Chocolate Production Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our clients busy chocolate facility in just outside Wetherby.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on forward-thinking production leader to take ownership of a growing department within a creative and dynamic food business. Youll play a key role in managing the talented chocolate team improving processes ensuring quality adhering to food safety compliance and bringing delicious new products to life.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Overseeing daily chocolate production ensuring efficiency quality and on-time delivery
- Leading training and motivating a team of 5 (and growing!) chocolatiers
- Planning and managing production schedules to meet customer demand
- Ensuring compliance with all food safety regulations (HACCP SALSA)
- Collaborating with New Product Development and Technical teams on new recipes and seasonal creations
- Contributing ideas for new products and producing costed samples
- Monitoring inventory of raw materials and packaging
What Youll Bring:
- Proven experience in food manufacturing ideally within retail
- Ideally have hands-on experience working with chocolate
- Food Safety & Hygiene Level 3 (minimum)
- Strong leadership organisation and problem-solving skills
- HACCP knowledge
- A genuine passion for chocolate and a keen eye for detail
