Job Description
The Sound Emporium is seeking a front desk/assistant engineer for a job requiring multiple skill sets. As an entry-level position the desk assistant will mainly work the front desk of the studio and answer phones welcome clients as they arrive and help them to their respective studios. They are required to set-up refreshments and coffee and open the studio in the morning then help with tear-down and clean up the studio at night when closing. They will also be called on to do food runs for the clients and possible other errands as needed. The front desk assistant engineer must be friendly and outgoing.
It also requires at least two years of experience working in a professional recording studio along with a basic working knowledge of studio set-up and teardown procedures. Because there is also a very heavy clerical part to working the front desk and booking the studio attention to detail and excellent organizational skills is a must.
Work location is at The Sound Emporium.
