Job Title:Maintenance Technician
Location:Harlan Iowa
Compensation:$25$30 per hour based on experience
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experiencedMaintenance Technicianto join our team in Harlan Iowa. This hands-on role is responsible for the maintenance repair and troubleshooting of industrial machinery and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide range of equipment including HVAC electrical mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Troubleshoot and repair production machinery and facility infrastructure such as CNC machines PLCs VFDs lighting plumbing and compressed air systems.
Install and maintain electrical apparatus and electronic control systems for industrial equipment.
Utilize diagnostic tools hand tools and fabrication equipment to complete repairs.
Maintain a safe organized and efficient work environment while following OSHA LOTO and NFPA standards.
Support facility upkeep including cleanliness of the building and surrounding grounds.
Flexibly respond to maintenance needs including overtime weekend work and occasional travel between sites.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent education/training.
Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical hydraulic pneumatic and HVAC systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment including electronic control systems.
Skilled in the use of diagnostic instruments power tools and fabrication equipment.
High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.
Familiarity with OSHA LOTO and NFPA compliance requirements.
