Armed Security Officer - St. Petersburg FL / Clearwater FL
Full-Time Immediate Opening Various locations
Excelsior Defense Inc. a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned security firm with more than 25 years of proven experience is currently hiring an Armed Security Officer to cover various posts in the St. Petersburg / Clearwater area.
Full-time position at varying high-profile locations: Financial institution(s) and a high-profile establishment visited by the public. This is an ideal opportunity for a professional officer seeking consistent hours stability and a mission-driven work environment.
Schedule & Pay:
Hours: Varying Shifts Available
Pay Rate: $17.75/hr - $23.00/hr - Dependent upon qualifications and assignment!
Position Requirements:
Must hold an active Florida Class D and Class G license
Minimum 1 year of armed security or related experience preferred
Must be professional punctual and able to work independently
Strong communication and incident-reporting skills
Must pass a background check and drug screening
- MUST maintain a professional appearance at all times while on duty
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain security and access control
Deter criminal activity ensure life safety and respond to incidents professionally
Patrol interior and exterior premises as needed
Monitor entry/exit activity and support employees and clients as needed
Report and document all incidents irregularities and daily activity
Upon offer of employment you will be required to submit a drug screening along with a background run.
