Job Description
Part-time Flyers Club -Aide - (School Age Care Before and After School)
- Part-time position approximately 15-27.5 hours/week
- Schedule Monday-Friday to follow 2025-2026 school calendar
- Recurring shift(s): 6:15-8:45 a.m 3:00-6 p.m.
- Additional hours for early release days and schools out days
- Potential for summer hours
- Hourly rate: $15.00
- Non-exempt
- Benefits not included
Summary: Maintains a safe environment for children; follows all safety procedures works with Site Supervisor and Group Leader to implement activities and fosters a nurturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating and maintaining a welcoming compassionate climate Maintain a clean safe organized and orderly environment
- Aware of and reports all broken equipment and unsafe situations Model respect and caring in relationships with children parents families colleagues and community
- Responsible for social development of children
- Utilizes positive strategies to guide childrens social behavior to maintain an effective learning environment
- Greets families each day
- Reads Sub File when entering a classroom to be familiar with the child information contained therein
- Responsible for implementation of the current lesson plan or verbal or written plan Monitor all aspects of the program site as related to childrens safety
- Attend all mandatory trainings and meetings
- Available to work on Early Release Days and Schools Out Days
- Ability to push or lift up to 50 lbs May require irregular hours: morning and/or afternoon/ evening
- Must have reliable transportation
- Perform duties indoors and outdoors
- Perform additional duties as assigned
