About the Role
The AI Lead will drive the practice s exploration and integration of artificial intelligence in design and delivery - shaping strategy workflow and applications for projects across multiple sectors. You ll collaborate closely with architects designers and digital specialists championing AI-driven tools and solutions from early concept through project realization. Your leadership will be central to enhancing design intelligence sustainability and productivity in a forward-thinking studio setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI strategies that align with the practice s design ethos and project goals
- Lead R&D initiatives and support cross-disciplinary teams in adopting AI machine learning and computational design solutions
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve outcomes using AI leveraging platforms such as Revit Rhino and Grasshopper
- Mentor and train teams on new digital processes advocating for continual development and innovation
- Evaluate emerging technologies and cultivate partnerships with leading external collaborators and researchers
- Present findings and pilot projects at internal forums and external events showcasing the firm s leadership in design technology
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven expertise leading AI or technical innovation within architecture design or allied fields
- Strong proficiency in computational design platforms (Revit Rhino Grasshopper) and applied AI tools
- Demonstrable experience in developing and executing digital strategies across varied building typologies
- Exceptional communication collaboration and change-management skills
- Solid grasp of programming and scripting (Python C# etc. for architectural applications highly advantageous
- Forward-thinking with a creative approach to problem solving and process optimization
- Desirable: Exposure to cloud-based platforms extended reality (XR) or digital twin environments
