Description

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Petroleum Facilities Clerk on a permanent basis on our Fleet Services team.

This position requires on-site work and is based in Regina Saskatchewan.

The Petroleum Facilities Clerk provides accounting and administrative services that will enhance the CRS facilities across Western Canada.

What youll do:

  • The Office Clerk (5) role for Fleet Services Administration that provides accounting and administrative services that support the operations of the Fleet Maintenance Shop in performing work for FCLs fleet and local Co-ops.
  • Administrative tasks and data entry for department systems such as asset management regulatory all Fleet Services Maintenance Shop orders purchase orders invoices freight bills claims supplier invoices debits and credits as required.
  • Review suppliers invoices check quantities prices discounts then code and process invoices for payment.
  • Prepare and process journal entries debit memos and credit memos as required.
  • Set up spreadsheets and prepare daily weekly and monthly reports as required.
  • Process orders from local Co-ops and other customers for various parts and services for petroleum equipment and propane.
  • Prepare and charge out shop service mechanics time and parts to appropriate works orders and bill to appropriate party.
  • Be aware of and apply the rules for application of provincial sales taxes fuel taxes and salaries by province.
  • Prepare purchase orders and place orders for special order petroleum parts shipped direct to local Co-op locations.
  • Responsible for warranty returns Dealing with suppliers and retails on defective parts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

You will work closely with a welcoming team that includes other Fleet Services Administrators Shop Management team and your team leader: Supervisor Fleet Services strives to cultivate a culture of openness and collaboration. You will also communicate often with local Co-ops and FCLs suppliers across Western Canada.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Administration and:

  • High School Education
  • 3 years of related experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
