Senior Media Intelligence Analyst
INNOCEAN USA a full-service ad agency located in sunny Huntington Beach CA is seeking a Senior Media Intelligence Analyst to join our growing media team!
We are a hybrid workplace currently x2 days week onsite. Candidates must be local to SoCal.
OVERVIEW
The Senior Media Intelligence Analystwill support the IUS Media Intelligence team by managing the Analysts and compiling organizing and analyzing various data sources tracking competitive and client performance. The successful candidate will work closely with members of the IUS Media Intelligence and IUS Media Strategy teams to provide regular reporting both internally and to clients.
The candidate will need to work closely with external vendors providing data and measurement services to identify gaps in the data capture strategy and collaboratively implement enhancements. The candidate will also be expected to partner across not only the media team but other IUS disciplines and external agencies.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support in the development of materials for monthly governance meetings. This includes large data set management creating semi-automated data cuts for faster analysis and building digestible visualizations of the data/analyses for the executive presentations
- Monitor track analyze and report on media performance and industry trends that identify issues and/or proactively lead to marketing ideas opportunities and potential strategies and solutions
- Evaluate the effects of communications in the marketplace
- Ongoing analysis of primary and secondary research to develop a strong understanding of our clients marketplace and competitive environment
- Sr. Analyst will manage the day to day responsibilities and growth of the Media Business Intelligence Analysts
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4 years of data analysis and reporting with a focus on analytical insights
- Previous OEM/retail automotive experience a plus but not necessary
- Media experience a plus but not necessary
- Understanding of media strategy and performance measurement
- Ability to clearly communicate technical data analysis to marketing generalists
- Strong communication and presentation skills are a must
- Automotive experience is a bonus
- Strong Excel user and comfortable working with pivot tables and large data sets
- Solid command of PowerPoint
- Ability to set up data sets for analysis in Tableau

The salary range for this role is $110000-$126000. Pay is dependent uponseveralfactorsincluding but not limited to: clientexperience training and/or transferable skills
