Job Description
Nature and Scope of Role:
As an Engineering Project Leader for Drives New Product Development you will oversee and drive the entire lifecycle of product development projects. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including R&D engineering manufacturing quality marketing and sales to ensure the successful execution and launch of innovative electronic drive products. In collaboration with Marketing this person will also be tasked with communicating and collaborating with key customers and stakeholders to help implement requirements and changes. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background extensive project management experience and a deep understanding of electronics development process.
Based in Ratingen Germany our global Center of Excellence for Drives Development were looking for someone with strong problem-solving skills and a real passion for teamwork. Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and manage new product development projects to ensure timely and successful delivery.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans schedules and budgets monitoring progress against key milestones.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align project objectives and ensure seamless execution.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.
- Ensure all products meet design specifications quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams and with stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Lead project meetings provide updates and report key project metrics to senior management.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
- Interact with key customers and manage customer requirements including timing specifications and expectations for new projects on existing and new platforms.
