Eatons Electrical Sector is currently seeking a Quality Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Richmond VA facility. Relocation assistance will be provided. This position ensures ownership of quality across all manufacturing areas to reduce errors increase quality performance and reduce cost of non-conformance by leading the greater quality team for the Richmond facilities as an operations leadership team member.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $108749 - $159499 a year.

What youll do:
Coach develop and mentor quality inspectors analysts and engineers to meet quality objectives: maximize production quality adhere to product standards support error resolution and root cause analysis communicate customer alerts and manage critical quality performance elements.
Foster a culture of quality ownership and drive world-class quality processes through influence communication and leadership.
Participate in plant leadership communications multifunctional events and planning acting on behalf of the plant manager when needed.
Champions plant EQMS implementation to ensure required processes are established implemented and maintained and drives continuous improvement of EQMS execution in support of growth and operational excellence
Champion continuous product and process improvements using Quality assurance methods Eatons Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF) OpA SPC Eaton Business System (EBS) six sigma and lean planning tools.
Lead plantwide communication improvement events data analysis customer quality management cost of non-conformance tracking action planning and status reporting.
Ensure supplier quality through root cause analysis supplier partnerships and improvement tracking.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing organization
Minimum of 2 years experience in a management of people function
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in engineering quality management or business
3 years-experience in management of quality assurance methods systems in electrical electronics power systems or other related fields
3 years-experience in continuous improvement
Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt certifications
CQM or CQE certifications
