Four Corners Facility at 11200 R 37 South. Bradley FLand/or South Fort Meade Facility at 5880 Manley Road. Fort Meade FL 33841.

A Mining Engineer Co-Op/Intern at Mosaic will be assigned to projects focused on improving mining conditions and student opportunities offers competitive pay relocation package and opportunity to work with a global leader on exciting projects and much more.

Full time Co-Op/Internship. Typically 36-40 hours a week on site.
9/80 schedule if applicable
What youll do
Day to day work assignments could include:
Assignments will involve learning all aspects of working at a site including Mine Planning Operations Optimization Quality Control Mapping and more.
Communicate with various levels of personnel throughout the organization including management mine operators engineers (of various disciplines) lab personnel and contractors
Participation in department meetings and meetings specific to the project assignment
Adhering to Mosaics mission guiding principles and priorities and key competencies
What youll need:
Sophomore level or higher pursuing a bachelors degree in Mining Engineering.
2.75 GPA or higher
1-2 years of experience volunteering working with student/school organizations or work is preferred.
Previous internship or co-op experience is preferred.
Reliable transportation and valid drivers license - You will need to be able to travel to and from sites and/or office.
Ability to work full timeand be a student in standing at the time of the co-op/internship
Selected candidates will be required to successfully complete thefollowing:Post-offer/pre-placementdrug and alcohol screening background check physical functional capacity examination.
Basic computer skills are required.
Experience working in a team environment is a must.
Familiarity with an industrial environment is highly desirable.
Effective verbal communication skills is a plus.
Physical work environment is occasionally outdoors with exposure to varying degrees of hot and cold environments.
