SUMMARY:
Contributes to the smooth flow of information communication educational materials and supplies throughout the district. Assist in receiving storing issuing and delivering of equipment tools and supplies and maintaining inventory control.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Receiving and Distribution
- Verify accuracy of shipments and record any discrepancies or damage.
- Load and unload delivery trucks as needed. Unpack items and inspect shipments for damage and defects.
- Fill requisitions from stock items. Verify accuracy of orders pulled.
- Pickup and deliver materials as needed.
Inventory
- Sort and store items according to established inventory systems and procedures.
- Conduct physical inventory of warehoused equipment tools and supplies and verify against inventory control totals. Maintain inventory records.
- Requisition additional supplies from purchasing department as directed.
- Maintain custody records for items being repaired and temporarily on loan.
Saftey
- Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting and carrying. Operate tools equipment and vehicles according to prescribed safety procedures.
- Correct unsafe conditions in work area and promptly report any conditions that are not immediately correctable to supervisor.
- Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Other
- Inspect vehicles and equipment following established inspection procedures to identify needed repairs.

- Maintain confidentiality.
- Accurately report work hours using the time clock to report start and end times.
- Utilize effective communication skills; ensure that all interactions are supportive courteous and respectful.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
- High school diploma or equivalent; or combination of education and experience
- Valid Texas drivers license with a record of safe driving

- Standard office equipment including computer and peripherals; forklift or hydraulic lifting equipment; hand truck dolly and pallet jack; small hand tools; light truck or van
