Job Description

Turner Industries Group is looking for an experienced HR Clerk maintenance position in Port Lavaca TX.

NO per diem or relocation available for this position; the successful candidate will be a current resident in/near the area.

  • 40 Hours
  • Must be able to pass drug screen/hair follicle
  • Minimum one year experience or equivalent combinations of experience and training
  • Knowledge of business machines computers and/or menu driven applications
  • Knowledgeable with Google Office Suite
  • Must possess excellent communication interpersonal organizational and problem solving skills

Data Entry
Knowledge of basic HR policies & Procedures

Adaptability Customer Service Employee Relations
Knowledge of FPC Training
Dependable Cordial

Performs basic clerical functions including filing copying binding reports typing and checking documentation invoices correspondence etc.; proofreads records or forms; operates business machines such as calculators typewriters computers facsimile machines copiers etc.; receives and coordinates storage of packages office supply deliveries etc.; answer screen and direct telephone calls; coordinate and deliver general administrative work for example time sheets vacation requests supply requisitions etc.; performs additional assignments as required.


Mental Involvement:

Employee may be required to do the following: following set procedures and standards; applying basic mathematical skills; planning work and selecting proper tools; comparing and understanding differences in the size shape and form of lines figures and objects; following oral and/or written directions; reading; writing; ability to recognize and report safety hazards.

Location: office environment
Mobility Barriers to Access Job Site: uneven ground level; obstructed pathways
Climatic/Environmental Conditions at Job Site: predominately indoor climate; various noise levels caused by tools machinery equipment etc.; potential exposure to chemical substances
