The purpose of this position is to provide full time front desk/reception and clerical/administrative support for the Student Health Center. Administrative Assistant III Duties include:
  • Maintenance of Student Health Center administrative files
  • Front office reception and clerical/administrative support
  • Immunization Compliance support
  • Management of Student Health Center student staff
  • Management of Social Media Content

Please note: this position reports to campus Monday - Friday; 8:00- 5:00.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience Only:
Three (3) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position which included in customer service administration and basic computer proficiency. (Experience must be clearly documented in the Work History section of your application. See Resume will not be accepted.)

OR

Education and Experience:
A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to three (3) years (Transcripts must be attached for educational credit)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Associates Degree or some college coursework in Business or Healthcare Administration.
  • Experience working at a front desk in a medical or dental setting.
  • Previous experience with patient scheduling in a hospital or clinic setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems practice management software and scheduling software.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Efficiently managing schedules and paperwork
  • Ability to handle unexpected situations and patient concerns effectively.
  • Ability to maintain composure in a demanding environment.
