We are looking for a Senior/Lead Golang Developer to join Kindgeek for a short-term pre-sale engagement!
Join us in supporting a FinTech client developing a Connector-as-a-Service platform that enables seamless integration between banks and payment systems like SEPA Instant. The upcoming engagement involves initial technical discovery and estimation for integrating the Latvijas Banka SEPA Instant (EKS) system using a scalable event-driven architecture built with Golang Kafka and RabbitMQ over TLS deployed on AWS with Kubernetes.
- Type: Short-term project-based involvement for pre-sale estimation
- Time Commitment: Typically 25 hours per engagement (flexible schedule agreed individually)
- Compensation: Hourly rate discussed individually
REQUIREMENTS
Were looking for a Senior Golang Developer who has:
- 5 years of commercial experience in backend development with strong expertise in Golang
- Proven hands-on experience with Kafka RabbitMQ and event-driven systems
- Solid understanding of AWS services and Kubernetes
- Strong background in designing architecture and launching projects from scratch
- Ability to independently analyze requirements and suggest technical solutions
- Excellent communication and estimation skills
- FinTech experience is a plus
- Availability to join the engagement as soon as possible
- Upper-Intermediate English level or higher
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Senior Golang Developer you will:
- Analyze the clients business and technical requirements to identify feasible technical solutions;
- Assess potential system architecture technologies and integration approaches;
- Define the high-level system design and propose relevant backend components and communication flows;
- Estimate the effort required to implement key components integrations and infrastructure setup;
- Identify technical risks constraints and assumptions that may affect delivery or scalability;
- Collaborate with Kindgeeks sales product and engineering teams to shape compelling and realistic proposals;
- Communicate technical insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
