Job Description

A global news organisation is looking for an experienced Podcast Producer to join their audio team on a 6-month contract. The role involves end-to-end production of a weekly interview-led podcast including guest booking editing and publishing.

They are looking for someone with strong editorial instincts excellent audio production skills and familiarity with industry-standard toolsparticularly Adobe Audition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule podcast episodes including guest coordination and topic research

  • Record edit and mix episodes to a high standard using Adobe Audition

  • Write introductions transitions and show notes

  • Publish episodes to platforms such as Apple Podcasts and Spotify

  • Ensure all content meets high journalistic standards for accuracy and balance

Whats Provided

  • All necessary recording equipment

  • Platform access and logins

  • Full training on style publishing workflow and internal tools (excluding Adobe Audition)

Important:

  • Shifts are fixed and rostered.

  • Weekend availability required (incl. 8-hour shifts Saturday & Sunday)

  • Contract role from 30/6/25 - 29/12/25
  • Outside IR35.
