INTERNAL / EXTERNAL POSTING
Part-Time (25 hours/week) Canteen Manager
St. James Catholic School is located in the beautiful Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. The school enrolls approximately 160 students from Kindergarten to Grade Seven. For the 2025/2026 school year St. James School is seeking an experienced and qualified Canteen Manager. This is a 25 hours/week position commencing September 1 2025.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess:
- active membership in a Catholic parish
- commitment to excellence in Catholic education
- prior food service experience
- experience planning well-balanced meals with creativity and variety
- the ability to be flexible when faced with ever-shifting needs
- a genuine sense of joy in being around others
- experience working with students as well as adults in a diverse and dynamic environment
- Valid and current FoodSafe Level 1 certification and be willing and able to complete FoodSafe Level 2
