You Will Be Doing:
You will participate in the Division of Public Assistance decision-making processes regarding eligibility and workflow management. Under the supervision of the Eligibility Office Manager you will utilize journey level public assistance knowledge programmatic experience and understanding of agency operations to supervise a team of entry level Eligibility Technician (ET) 1 positions that operate as the first point of contact on a statewide basis for clients across multiple access points.

You will assign and review work interpret policies and procedures and provides support through coaching mentoring and training using a variety of methods.

The work location for this position is in Ketchikan Alaska
The work location is in our Ketchikan office located at: 2030 Sea Level Dr. Suite 301 Ketchikan AK. 99901.

This position joins a statewide eligibility workflow team in local Public Assistance offices across the state.

Qualifications

One year of experience as an Eligibility Quality Control Technician 1 Eligibility Technician 3 or Eligibility Technician 4 with the State of Alaska or the equivalent with another employer which includes lead or supervisory level experience.

OR

One year of experience performing similar work that developed the knowledge and skill in leading or supervising staff that apply program requirements while working with client customers in stressful situations.

Additional Required Information
