New London Local Schools is seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our team of educators. The successful candidate will play a vital role in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for our students. We are looking for an individual who is committed to academic excellence possesses excellent communication skills and has a strong understanding of the principles of the science of reading.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of elementary students.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and development.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective instructional strategies.
Assess and monitor student progress providing timely and constructive feedback to both students and parents.
Integrate technology and other innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and research.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
Valid Ohio teaching certification.
Strong understanding of the principles of the science of reading.
Proven experience in creating and implementing effective research-based literacy instruction.
Excellent classroom management skills.
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
