As theLead Respiratory Physiologistat Cromwell Hospital youll play a pivotal role in delivering and developing our specialist respiratory diagnostic services. Youll lead a high-performing team ensure clinical excellence and support the Centre Manager in driving service innovation and operational efficiency.

How youll help us make health happen

• Lead the delivery of a wide range of respiratory and sleep diagnostics including spirometry lung function testing CPET and bronchial provocation studies.
• Supervise and develop a team of respiratory physiologists ensuring high standards of clinical practice and continuous professional development.
• Oversee equipment calibration stock control and service scheduling to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Collaborate with consultants clinical teams and administrative staff to ensure a seamless patient journey from referral to results.
• Support governance quality assurance and service audits ensuring compliance with CQC and hospital standards.
• Contribute to strategic planning service development and business case preparation to support future growth.
• Deputise for the Centre Manager and represent the department in multidisciplinary meetings and operational forums.

Key Skills / Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) in Clinical Physiology or equivalent specialist training.
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience of working in a Clinical Respiratory Physiology Department
• Registration with AHCS or equivalent; membership of ARTP or ERS desirable.
• Proven leadership and team supervision experience.
• Proficient in Office 365 and clinical systems; experience with private healthcare delivery is a plus.
• Strong communication analytical and organisational skills.
• Passionate about respiratory medicine and committed to delivering outstanding patient care.
