Job Description

This Technician I position is part of the Equipment Services department located in Coralville IA and will be on-site. At IDT we are one global team. We celebrate our differences engage in healthy debate and are inclusive. Together we accomplish great things.
Shift: Weekday Overnight Monday-Thursday 6:00pm-5:00am
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Support the reliability and sustainability of custom automated laboratoryequipmentin a high throughput environment
Coordinate and perform preventative maintenanceservicesand address unplanned maintenance onequipment
Apply knowledge of mechanical electrical pneumatic fluidics optical devices/systems controls systems
The essential requirements of the job include:
Associate degree or two years of work experience or equivalent combination or education and experience
Ability to exert 50-100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or 25-50 lbs. of force frequently
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skillsincluding the ability to use hand and power tools
Following diagrams operations manuals manufacturers instructions and engineering specifications
Automation equipment testing or troubleshooting preferred - including Beckhoff TwinCat/EtherCat and Unitronic or similar control systems
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
