Job Description
A growing Pompano based firm is looking to add an Immigration Attorney to their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immigration law with a particular focus on business and family immigration cases. The ideal candidate will have a great personality and a willingness to learn and help others. Prior experience in immigration law is highly preferred but they are willing to train the right candidate!
Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload of business immigration and family immigration matters including but not limited to visa applications green card petitions adjustment of status and naturalization.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.
- Prepare and file legal documents petitions and applications with government agencies ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Represent clients in non-court immigration proceedings including interviews administrative hearings and appeals when necessary.
- Collaborate with colleagues and staff to ensure effective case management and client communication.
- Stay updated on changes in immigration law and policy to provide informed counsel to clients.
- Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in Florida
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Outgoing personality with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Salary: $80000 - $100000
