At Foundry we reimagine health care to meet the diverse needs of youth aged 1224 and their families. With a focus on wellness connection and accessibility we bring together a variety of supportsincluding mental health substance use primary care peer and social servicesunder one roof and online.
Reporting to the Product Adoption Lead the Foundry Clinical Informatics Specialist is responsible for implementing the Foundry direction for development maintenance and sustainment of current and future-state health information systems to improve clinical processes. Foundry is a provincial initiative with the goal of providing youth and young adults with enhanced access to integrated health and social services thereby easing transition points for youth and their families. The position bridges the gap between clinical care and technology by meeting with system users to understand workflows articulate clinical requirements and lead the business analysis for clinical informatics work design and to identify improvements and changes to systems and processes. The position provides support to the network of Foundry centres across the province.
The Foundry Clinical Informatics Specialist:
Education Training and Experience:
Graduation from a recognized degree program in a relevant allied health care field or equivalent. Certification or where required by statute registration with the applicable professional association or college. Minimum three (3) to five (5) years experience in a health care environment including extensive experience using related computer technology clinical change management and project leadership or an equivalent combination of education training and experience. Experience implementing/supporting integrated clinical system environments an asset.
Travel between sites requires access to a vehicle and a valid BC Drivers License for which mileage will be reimbursed in accordance with the collective agreement.

A competitive salary: The salary range for this position is $45.60 - $56.92 per hour depending on experience.
