Job Description
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of medical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Administer medications and monitor patient reactions.
- Provide emergency care and first aid as needed.
- Collaborate with specialists for patient referrals.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date medical records are maintained.
- Participate in daily rounds and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Supervise and train junior staff and interns.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment options.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations and institutional policies.
- Engage in continuous professional development and training.
- Assist in research and clinical trials where applicable.
- Respond to patient inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution.
- Valid medical registration and licensure to practice in India.
- Completion of internship in a recognized hospital.
- Experience in emergency medicine or general medicine is preferred.
- Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in electronic health record systems.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Basic life support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of current medical standards and practices.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
