Boeing Commercial Airplanesis seeking an Experienced Assembler to join the Seal Team working inNorth Charleston South Carolina on a Variable Shift!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Minimal to no supervision

• Mentors and trains peers in resolving issues and completing job responsibilities.

• Demonstrate the use of information-gathering techniques analyzing situations and identifying implications in order to make correct decisions.

• Performs complex production assembly operations on structural parts mechanical assemblies sub-assemblies and aircraft systems equipment and accessories using manual or automated assembly tools.

• In-depth expertise in following detailed work instructions redars velocity analysis PSDs interpreting detailed blueprints or drawings and the ability to draft PUs/ER PUs as well as comprehend NCs. Maintains and upholds necessary certifications.

• Engages with internal and external personnel on critical matters often requiring coordination across multiple organizations

• Ability to work in a flexible and highly adaptive environment.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

• Willing and able to work a variable shift.

• Willing and able to work overtime.

• Willing and able to work in confined spaces.

• Ability to meet physical demands of the role such as: flexion/extension (head bent down head bent back) handling kneeling bending at the waist reaching (overhead) rotation of head/neck standing twisting at the waist and walking climbing/balancing (stairs ladders poles scaffolding inclined surfaces) crawling crouching (squatting).

• Ability to carry/lift up to 10-35 pounds.

• 3 years of experience using precision measuring instruments.

• 3 years of experience demonstrating leadership/training skills.

• 5 years of experience in Aerospace Fabrication or Manufacturing experience.

• 5 years of experience with 787 operations.

• 5 years of experience with have working with common aerospace sealants and applications processes (fay sealant wet installed fasteners edge seal 1st and final fillets type 1 and type 2 fillets pre-molded cap installations etc.)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 3 years of experience with the 787 fuel cells
