Job Description
Looking for your next challenge North America Sort Centers (NASC) are experiencing explosive growth and looking for a skilled highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Manager with leadership experience and a strong delivery record to join the NASC Mid-Term Planning Team (US and Canada). The Sort Center network is the critical Middle-Mile solution in the Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) group linking Fulfillment Centers to the Last Mile. The experience of our customers is dependent on our ability to efficiently execute new programs and manage volume flow through the middle-mile network.
This Supply Chain Manager will interact with all facets of the NASC Network driving innovation consistency increased control uniformity and the development of a more efficient centralized network planning process working with SC Operations and core Transportation teams in North America.
This position will include regular direct communications with senior leaders across the organization.
Key job responsibilities
- Support Planning Functions for NASC including Peak and Prime Week Solves.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions influencing and facilitating agreements to achieve shared network capacity goals.
- Define metrics develop program management mechanisms and invent/simplify processes to drive decision-making
- Develop mechanisms for End to End optimal supply chain flow
- Review weekly demand and capacity plans and remove capacity bottlenecks
- 3 years of program or project management experience
- 3 years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- 2 years of supply chain experience
- Bachelors degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- 3 years of driving end to end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3 years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $77200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
