We are seeking 2026 Registrar Service and Trainees - Country Health Service (WACHS) - 2026 Registrar Service and Trainees - Salary Packages up to $233,000 p.a.

• Includes Service Registrars, Trainees, ACRRM/RACGP Advanced Skills, Advanced Trainee positions

General Medicine

• Includes Service Registrars, Advanced Trainees, Basic Physician Training (BPT) eligible positions

General Surgery

• Service Registrars

 Intensive Care

• Service Registrar, Trainee Registrar, Senior Registrar (Transition Year Fellow)

Orthopaedic Surgery

• Service Registrar

Some General Medicine Service Registrar posts are eligible for BPT Year 1 Adult Internal Medicine training.
Salary Packages
South

• Registrar Year 1–7: $152,757 – $203,909 p.a. pro rata
• Senior Registrar Year 1–2: $223,525 – $233,666 p.a. pro rata

North

• Registrar Year 1–3: $178,223 – $194,933 p.a. pro rata

Salary includes base, professional development allowance, and superannuation (12% from July 2025).

• This is a Recruitment Pool valid until 31 October 2025 — successful candidates may be appointed anytime during this period.
• Appointments are based on assessed skills and recent experience.
• Some positions are accredited for Advanced Skills Training.
• Suitable for both Service Registrars and College Trainees depending on role.

Eligibility Criteria

• MBBS or equivalent
• General or Limited Registration with AHPRA (or eligible)
• Previous relevant clinical experience in your specialty of interest
• IMG candidates with appropriate postgraduate qualifications are welcome to apply (eligible for short-term or provisional registration pathways)
