Job Description:
We are seeking aPart-Time Preschool Teacher to join our team at St. Mary of the Hills Preschool. We are a school-year only program that runs September through the end of May 9am - 3pm daily. We do not offer before or after school care. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for them to learn and grow. Responsibilities include planning and implementing age-appropriate activities maintaining a safe and clean classroom and communicating effectively with parents and staff. The candidate must have a passion for early childhood education and be able to work collaboratively with others. Interested candidates should email a resume to
- Bachelors degree in early childhood education or a related field preferred
- Associate degree in early childhood or child development or equivalent certification also accepted
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to the values and teachings of the Catholic faith (must complete Protecting Gods Children)
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- State background check and fingerprinting required
