Lead Consultant - API Automation testing

Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - UI and API Automation testing (Javascript and Python)

As a Principal Consultant experience in automation testing particularly with UI and API frameworks using JavaScript and Python. You will be responsible for leading testing initiatives mentoring junior testers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive UI and API automation testing strategies to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Design build and maintain scalable automation frameworks using JavaScript and Python.
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on best practices in automation testing and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with product managers developers and other stakeholders to create detailed test plans and define testing scope.
Oversee the execution of automated test cases analyze test results and provide actionable insights and reports to stakeholders.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid feedback and high-quality releases.
Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements and provide testing insights.
Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies to improve testing processes and frameworks.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
Valid years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on UI and API automation.
Proficient in automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium Cypress Postman Pytest) using JavaScript and Python.
Strong understanding of testing methodologies software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Prior experience in a consulting role or client-facing environment is highly desirable.
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or equivalent are a plus.
