We are looking for Public Relations Interns to join our St. Louis team in our global headquarters office. We offer real-world experience across the communications spectrum including strategy and brand/corporate positioning media relations social media influencer marketing content creation executive thought leadership coalition building internal communications crisis communications sustainability social impact paid media and more.

This full-time paid internship is 40hours per week and runs June 25 2025 January 16 internship offers a hybrid work experience (remote and in-office). Note: candidates are required to work onsite in our St. Louis office at least three days a week.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about communications eager to learn and as committed to producing exceptional work as we are. The FleishmanHillard experience provides the opportunity to grow personally and professionally through exposure to client service and the inner workings of a global integrated communications firm.
Interns play an integral role within account teams where they provide strategic support and develop critical skills that are foundational to a career in public relations. Example responsibilities include conducting research and analysis developing written materials (social content news releases messaging etc.) managing social media and paid digital campaigns building relationships with journalists identifying influencers and stakeholders vetting external engagement opportunities support crisis planning tracking and analyzing results and other account-related activities.
Qualified candidates will have at least a 3.0 GPA previous relevant internship experience(s) and completed their junior year of college. Recent graduates are preferred. This is a full-time internship that runs throughout the academic calendar and we are unable to accommodate class schedules. Basic position requirements include excellent written and oral communication skills an innate curiosity strong time management a desire to learn in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment and commitment to cultivating diverse teams and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment. All candidates must also exhibit a desire and motivation to learn and the ability to work as part of a team.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $18-$20 an hour.
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience knowledge skills other job-related qualifications and geography.
