Under general direction SUPERVISES a performance monitoring team within all levels of Claims.
Essential Functions:
1. INTERVIEWS and/or APPROVES job applicants for employment. CONDUCTS and/or REVIEWS associate performance appraisals. INITIATES or APPROVES salary adjustments performance ratings and other personnel changes. COUNSELS associates and TAKES disciplinary action or TERMINATES the employment of associates as appropriate.
2. SUPERVISES associates who monitor review and analyze telephone calls claim files and reports to evaluate the effectiveness performance and behavior of claims associates.
3. ANALYZES individual section and location quality and performance based on monitoring and audit reviews results.
4. COORDINATES implementation of projects and new procedures across Claims units based on root cause analysis reviews.
5. RECOMMENDS changes in processes and methodologies to enhance processes and improve overall quality results.
6. DETERMINES areas of strengths and areas of concern based on call monitoring and auditing reviews and PROVIDES feedback to management for training and coaching or behavioral opportunities.
7. PERFORMS other duties assigned by management.
8. ADHERES to the GEICO Code of Conduct the GEICO Claims Code of Conduct company policies and operating principles.
9. MEETS attendance standard at business location to perform necessary job functions and to facilitate interaction with subordinates and management.

Annual Salary
$82000.00 - $157850.00The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include but are not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the role the selected candidates work experience education and training the work location as well as market and business considerations.
