Job Description
********Part time position - 5.5 hrs per day***********
This notice is to announce that a part-time Special Education Assistant (5.5 hours per day)opening is available in the Tri-Valley Local School District.
Educational Aide applicants must have a valid Paraprofessional licensure through the Department of Education & Workforce. To apply for this licensure please visit the Department of Education & Workforce website at or contact the district office at to obtain instructions.
Once hired you will need to take a paraprofessional test through C-TEC/Licking Regional Educational Service Centerorprovide proof of taking their testOR have an associate degree (or higher) from an accredited institution of higher education; or at least two years of study at an accredited institution of higher education (defined as 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours).
